STIMULATOR

From 1996 to 1999, Stimulator played hundreds of shows, signed a record deal with Geffen Records US, made a debut album with Ulrich Wild (Static X, Stabbing Westward) in Los Angeles and had a self-made video played on MTV. Billy Morrison (later of The Cult and Camp Freddy on vocals and lead guitar), Terry Warville (rhythm guitar), Barry Jepson (ex Southern Death Cult on bass) and Jason Bowld (later of Pitchshifter on drums) wrote and recorded seventeen songs for Geffen in the winter of 1998. In the first few months of 1999, there was a huge merger in the Music Business and Geffen Records were bought out by Seagrams and hundreds of artists suffered. Of course, being the most recent signing, Stimulator were one of the "last in, first out" casualties and the album (finished and mastered) never saw the light of day. Below is the video for Strike No.1 and there are plans to make the whole album available here. Check back for details.
